Ireland Memorial Inscriptions images were created by Louise Cocker from four different cemeteries in Dublin. The images are from the oldest cemeteries in Dublin. The Arbour Hill Cemetery is the burial place of the 14 leaders of the 1916 Rising. The names on their memorials are in Gaelic, but have been transcribed in English for searching. The leaders were executed at Kilmainham and then buried at Arbour Hill. Christ Church Cathedral was a Viking church with its foundations built over 1,000 years ago. The Huguenot Cemetery is located near St Stephen’s Green and is the burial place for the descendants of the French Huguenots who fled France in the 17th century.
